Last Drop Village Hotel Weddings
The Last Drop Village Hotel in Bolton was the venue for Woodyatt Warner venue dressers to provide our award winning service for our happy couple getting married in the Penny Farthing Suite.
With views over the Pennines and a quaint village all enclosed in the Hotel grounds including a village Tea Shop serving afternoon teas and ice cream, a pub serving locally sourced food, a hair and beauty salon and a variety of boutiques selling everything from jewellery to womens clothes and Bridal wear, the Hotel makes for a weekend break to relax before your wedding day.
The Penny Farthing Suite provides a unique setting for your wedding. Having a low lying ceiling and original wooden beams, you may think of the suite as a medieval banqueting room sitting alongside the likes of Henry VIII.
For this particular wedding, the Bride and Groom decided they wanted to brighten the room up so we installed a huge amount of fairy lights to wrap around the beams and installed star cloth backdrop curtains for behind the top table and behind the candy cart. Along with the backdrops, we attached a star cloth swag across the front of the top table and cake table to create a twinkling effect all in sequence with each other.
As the colour scheme for the wedding was purple, we brought in up lighters and placed them around the room so as to provide a mood lighting effect.
