Carryduff Manchester United Supporters Club 20 Year Celebration
Thank you to woodyattwarner events so much for making this a seemless transaction for the Manchester United Opus book. A celebration of 100 years of the greatest football club in the world going to a well deserved home where it will be cherished for ever.
John White is a national treasure to our club and deserved absolutely everything we could ever hope to give him. He is Mr Manchester United in Northern Ireland, a reputation he has built on in these last 20 years. As you can see Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs managed to get their heads into the picture. The other small man in one of the pictures on the stage is John McGettrick a branch member and local solicitor who smuggled the book from Manchester to Belfast on board our club coach. He hasn’t been seen for 2 days due to a bad back. (Can’t imagine how that happened).
