Beautiful Wedding at Astley Bank
The Astley Bank Hotel is situated in Darwen, Lancashire. The hotel has gained a significant reputation of being a premium wedding venue, and was also voted Hotel of the Year and won the Lancashire Life Award.
This was achieved by providing an excellent service for guests staying at the venue. The 19th century Mansion House has been maintained to a high standard and sits within the beautiful Lancashire countryside.

Today was an extra special day for Kayleigh and Kyle. The Bride and Groom were arriving to tie the knot and booked us to create something magical for their big day. This is something we excel at, and transformed the room with our venue decor and imaginative styling.
The Venue Dressing
Woodyatt Warner are highly recognized in the wedding industry for the work we do decorating venues for couples on their wedding day. The Astley Bank was today’s project, and Kayleigh wanted elegance and and sophistication whilst keeping the decor neutral. The floral centrepieces for the tables were created to match the theme. Using a variety of different flowers including, roses, peonies, allium, hydrangeas and phalaenopsis orchids, the end result was a stunning large floral design.
Each one was placed onto ornate fluted vases and added to the seven guest tables. Two different sized vases allowed for a slight difference in height as an added effect. By doing this it breaks up the uniformity of the room.
For the top table we installed a full length garland of foliage to cover the entire length of the table. To keep in theme with the rest of the decor, all the flowers from the centrepieces were added. Simple, yet elegant decorations perfectly matched the room with its large windows allowing in plenty of natural light. The ceiling decorated with draping and fairy lights softened up the overall look.
