The Churchill Tree, is a Grade II listed building located within the historic grounds of Alderley Park.

Housed in the former Tenants’ Hall of which was once employed as a wartime hospital, this stunning

venue combines a wealth of magnificent architectural heritage plus the charm of a classic country

wedding venue.

For those Historical seekers, the outside remains steeped in history with a unique tree plated by Winston

Churchill. Offering a substantial high end menu of quality, seasonal British food, The Churchill Tree has a

wedding menu featuring fresh locally sourced ingredients. For the connoisseurs, there is a variety curated

cask ales, craft beers, and premium spirits.

The Green Room welcomes you with open arms for your wedding day. Boasting charm and history with

high vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and an array of mystique as to how life was during the war as a room

for the injured during the Second World War.

After a £3 million refurbishment, the Churchill Tree reopened from an old war time hospital into an event

venue specializing in weddings for up to 80 guests.

2026 has brought about yet another distinctive change in style with more Brides looking at the soft palette colours to enhance their wedding day. Boasting more of a natural look, combined with elegance and charm, the pastel shades are fast becoming the new go to for designers.

 

Callum & Dominic chose the Churchill Tree in Alderley Edge as their wedding venue and had their hearts

set upon the soft pastel shades for their decor. The vision was stylish and chic but with the added Wow

factor for the guests.

In short, the requirement was one of luxury and asthetics. Above all the impact of the decor needed to

create the awe and amazement befitting such a beautiful summer day.

Specifically, the florals needed to be truly unique and big enough to make that statement upon entering

the Green Room at the Churchill Tree. Consequently the couple put their faith into our team to bring

their vision to life.

As a result, the floral centrepieces were created using a mixture of pastel shades including pinks, blues,

yellows and touches of cream. Roses, peonies, ranunculus and delphinium flowers made up the majority

of the decor. Meanwhile we added rows of trailing wisteria to cover various points along sections of the

walls in between the floor to ceiling windows.

The height of the centrepieces filled the vast space above the tables due to the height of the ceiling.

Consequently the room took on a complete overhaul and was transformed into a magical setting, above

all, a perfect location to enjoy their first time together as newlyweds.

As a result, Callum & Dominic were over the moon with everything. The pastel shades were faultless and

their day will always be remembered.
