Boho Wedding at Heaton House Farm

Boho wedding venue styling
One of our most recent weddings took place at the stunning Heaton House Farm. This was a different style set up to the standard English style neutral wedding decor.
The Bride contacted Woodyatt Warner after getting into difficulties finding a venue styling company that could fulfill her requirements and create the Boho wedding theme she desired.
With an informal setting for the wedding flowers, venue styling and seating arrangements, the perfect accompaniment was to have a relaxed Boho wedding. The weather was on Amy’s side for her big day allowing us to set all the decor outside for the late afternoon ceremony.
With around 110 guests, the chairs were aligned in a curve allowing all the guests to capture Amy’s arrival as she graced the aisle. To create the style in the most appealing way, we covered the chairs in flowing white chiffon ruffled sashes whilst adding small ornate glass vases along both sides of the aisle filled with stems of pampas grass, wheat and flowers.
Upon reaching the registrars table for the vows, the couple were greeted by a beautifully decorated rustic backdrop arch comprising of a wooden frame and stylish hanging macrame with a floral design to finish.
The Wedding Flowers
The wedding flowers were based around a light neutral colour palate that included all the white, ivory, pale pink and cream colours. All highlighted by stems of pampas grass, wheat and dried palm leaves.
The relaxed atmosphere and informal setting of the wedding breakfast brought all the guests into the barn where 14 tables awaited them. There was no traditional long top table for the Bride and Groom and main Bridal party. This was a wedding without the formalities and generic run through of most.
Everyone was sat at round tables of which had their own unique style of decor to keep in with the theme of the wedding. The centrepieces ranged from large floral designs as seen in the picture. These were created specifically for Amy’s wedding using a wide range of roses, peonies, hydrangeas, trailing orchids and ranunculus flowers in various soft shades. Pampas grass and wheat stems were then added along with dried palm leaves for the desired effect.
Utilizing these as the taller centrepieces, we used a range of designs at mid height and low level for other tables.
