Event Draping and Lighting
The Victoria and Albert Manchester Marriott is a regular venue for Woodyatt Warner wedding venue dressers. As a local supplier to the Hotel, we were asked to dress the John Logie Baird Suite for a 30th Birthday party.
Having seen our previous work, the Birthday girl “Natalie” wanted us to completely transform the style of the room into a stunning party venue by covering all the walls in our star cloth drapes and illuminating them with up lighting in a chosen purple glow.
By adding in the draping, all the doorways that are not being used, décor on the walls, including pictures, light fittings etc. will be covered from floor to ceiling. The up lighting then finishes everything off perfectly, and can be set to a wide range of colours. The transformation is not only dramatic, but sensational.
Draping can be installed anywhere as it comes attached to a free standing pipe system so wont affect any fixtures or fittings, and therefore has the ability to work around corners so as not leave any unsightly gaps, making it a highly versatile way of providing that stunning finish.
This is becoming a very popular way of providing the WOW factor, and instead of spending thousands on that perfect venue, you can simply opt for a much cheaper location and convert it using the draping system.
