School Prom Venue Dressing
Venue dressing is all about style and that unique look. Cheshire based venue dressers Woodyatt Warner are a Nationally recognised and highly regarded company supplying decorations for weddings and events across the UK.
Our latest venture took us to Deepdale, the Football Stadium of Preston North End to create something spectacular for the University of Lancashire’s Graduation Ball. Ideas were a summer theme with fresh and vibrant colours to stand out in the “Invincibles Lounge” used on a weekly basis for football match hospitality. With the walls being blue and white we had to come up with ideas to transform the room to incorporate both glitz and a neutral look.
After visiting the venue and having a look at the room where the event was to be held, we were able to picture the exact look we were going to achieve and give an insight to the students at the University of whom were tasked to make the event spectacular. Within minutes of providing the details of how the room would look the students came to a unanimous decision to book us to decorate the room for them.
To cover the blue walls we opted for a complete full floor to ceiling twinkling star cloth draping effect. The drapes were all connected together and controlled with a master box system so as to sequence the lights together.
For the tables we built huge 6ft pink blossom trees to create an amazing summer look and the ultimate WOW factor for the event. From the branches we hung glass globes with candles in them so as to add to the lighting. Again with the ceiling above the dance floor we added a variety of hanging candles.
To stand in front of the dance floor we installed our flower wall available to hire. This was built into the draping system so as to have the continuing effect around the walls and have that special backdrop for photos. With over 3000 flowers the 3x2m section of our flower wall was a huge focal point in the room.
