Rookery Hall Weddings
It was an emotional day for Gareth and Shelley at Rookery Hall on their wedding day and Woodyatt Warner venue dressers were there to dress the venue for the arrival of the Bride and Groom.
Built in 1816 for the wealthy William Hilton Cooke, Rookery Hall Hotel has moved with the times to continue to keep up with the ever changing demands. In 1867 the stylish French chateau tower was added to the main building, and then in 1990, a new wing was created. Then in 2007 the sprawling estate was enhanced with a new health club and spa, stylish luxury bedrooms and a conference and banqueting centre able to host all manor of events. However, with these improvements the contemporary touches still remain to keep a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
Set in 38 acres of stunning Cheshire countryside, Rookery Hall is a Georgian Manor House capable of holding weddings of up to 160 guests with countless opportunities for those all important photos.
The Bride and Groom decided to go with quite a neutral colour scheme with slight touches of gold to enhance the look of the room. With the use of two styles of centrepieces, both of which were used for the ceremony, the theme ran from the start of the day all the way to the end. Blossom trees and large floral displays containing seasonal foliage with a selection of hydrangeas, peonies and roses created a stylish effect to the Worleston Suite.
To finish off the ceremony, we created a beautiful swirl effect with over 4000 rose petals all the way down the aisle culminating with two hearts at the front where the vows were to take place.
The top table was covered in gold crystal candle holders and cylinder vases with floating candles, and then framed with our huge canopy blossom trees.
