We have brought you a stunning National Trust site set in the woodlands of Styal, and a historic converted farm barn set in the countryside of Cheshire. Today we bring you something not many people would have considered for a wedding venue, afterall……..you could have been accused of “monkeying” around for suggesting it!!!
Chester Zoo is the UK’s number one zoo, close to the historic city of Chester, and is set in 110 acres of award-winning gardens. With over 7,000 animals of 400 different species, you simply cannot run out of photo opportunities at this quite amazing wedding location. Set deep in the wonderful gardens is Oakfield Manor. The venue overlooks the zoo and maintained gardens and for just over £1500, it’s all your for the day!!!
With the historic, Tudor city of Chester only 5 miles away providing you with some of the most charming buildings, there is an abundance of hotels for your guests to stay. The centre of Chester is certainly a memorable place to be and after spending the day touring the grounds of the Zoo, what better than to snuggle up in front of a burning log fire in one of those beautiful wattle and daub style hotels with a glass of wine or two???
