Cheshire venue dressers Woodyatt Warner Ltd at Peckforton Castle

Peckforton Castle Wedding Venue

As a leading wedding company providing venue styling and floral designs, Woodyatt Warner are a very popular choice for couples getting married at Peckforton Castle to provide their wedding decor.

Peckforton Castle is one is the most breathtaking wedding venues in the North West of the UK. Set in the backdrop of the stunning Cheshire countryside, this medieval Castle stands proudly high on the landscape.

The Castle itself is a Grade I listed building both recognised and rewarded by the English Heritage. Therefore any repairs and updating to the structure is scrutinized down to the very last millimetre to ensure the integrity of the original building.

Something Woodyatt Warner venue dressers constantly admire upon entering through the main gate house when arriving at Peckforton Castle to set up weddings.

Autumnal Theme Wedding Decorations

Seasonal changes can transform the outlook of any wedding venue, but the mystique and charm of Peckforton Castle empowers such events. Dressing this spectacular wedding venue is a regular occurrence for us. Each and every time we arrive there is a magical excitement.

Our latest wedding saw Angelina book our venue dressing service to create her perfect wedding day. With an Autumnal theme in mind, and advising on how best to achieve the desired look, we arrived early morning to start setting up all the decor for Angelina’s special day.

The day began unloading the van and bringing all the decor into the Great Hall. Boasting huge vaulted ceilings and medieval charm, the Great Hall is the perfect setting for the wedding ceremony.

Seated for 80 guests, we had the set up all planned out down to the smallest detail. It’s not just a case of just putting everything in the Hall. Measuring the width of the aisle and moving chairs around to make space for the wide aisle carpet, then keeping enough room for the stunning Autumnal trees to be able to stand on white columns without blocking the view of guests all needs to be taken into account.

The last thing you want to do is have a ceremony aisle with decor that doesn’t allow for your guests to see you walk down the aisle ready to take your vows.

Great Hall Wedding Decor

Starting from the top, heading up the winding staircase to the Minstrels Gallery, we set about hanging the fairy light curtain from the balcony. A massive 12m long by 5m drop to run the entire length so as to create a huge fairy light curtain across the entire wall leaving the entrance arch clear to walk through.

Light up LOVE letters were then set up in the alcove of the Great Hall to fill the space otherwise redundant. An ideal location for the letters to be slightly set back and still clearly visible.

Behind the registrars table we built an Autumnal crescent moon arch ready for the “signing of the wedding register photos.

Then finally onto the aisle decor.

Once the seating had been arranged to leave a wide enough space for the decor, we introduced white columns along both sides of the aisle and placed stunning Autumnal trees on top of them. The aisle carpet was then rolled out to the full length of the aisle.

In between the columns an abundance of vases surrounded by tall multi stem handle holders full of candles were added to bring in the romantic atmosphere. Followed by over 4000 autumnal leaves running along both edges of the aisle to finish off the decor. Peckforton Castle was ready for the guests arrival.

Robert and Angelina were united together for their wedding vows and became the new happy couple to announce their marriage.
