Elegant Weddings
Venue decoration is an important part of your wedding day and everyone has their own ideas on how to have that perfect setting. When choosing your style and colour schemes, the venue will play a huge role on your decisions.
One of our Brides chose the Ashton village Hotel for her big day, as the marquee matched her vision perfectly. She then contacted us at Woodyatt Warner after seeing our previous work and asked us to provide the venue dressing to create that elegant look using just three neutral colours consisting of white, ivory and creams.
With the lining of the marquee being of an ivory/cream colour on a white base, this would be a perfect fit with our Brides chosen styling.
The tables were dressed with white cloths and over the top were placed ivory lace overlays to bring out the colour of the sashes on the chairs and the flowers in the centrepieces. The lace was used on the chairs along with cream coloured satin sashes, and finished off with an ivory rose.
The floral displays on the tables consisted of head to head roses and peonies in the same shades as the rest of thee venue décor. To add that extra touch of glam, glass globes were hung from the flowers and candles placed in them for that romantic feel. Being very large centrepieces they brought about the WOW factor to the marquee upon entering, and tied everything together to ensure the room looked elegant and classy.
By keeping to neutral colours, a marquee is the ideal venue for this style of wedding as it is a blank canvas, but keeping with minimalistic colours, the vast majority of venues will be suitable for this styling.
