Combermere abbey weddings

A hidden gem set in the rural borderlands of Cheshire/Shropshire in Northwest England, Combermere Abbey is a magical place that blends centuries of history, breath taking landscape and compelling architecture with the privacy, luxury and modern convenience of a 21st century venue.

With exclusive use of the beautiful walled gardens where a truly unique fan shaped building called The GlassHouse resides, you will be surrounded by the world’s only fruit tree maze. Adjacent to this is the Garden Pavilion that boasts a spectacular star-lit ceiling that has been especially designed for those magnificent wedding receptions between March and December.

For all your accommodation needs, Combermere has nine 5 star cottages for up to 49 guests. The bespoke ‘Stone Lodge’ bridal cottage offers a romantic hideaway for the Bride and Groom with complete privacy to enjoy your wedding night.

Woodyatt Warner have dressed the Pavilion on previous occasions and from the picture below you can see just how we can transform a venue into something spectacular.

The Pavilion comes complete with a fully fitted bar, white LED dance floor and capability to seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast. The Pavilion is fully lined in white with ceiling chandeliers and floor level up-lighting, indoor cloakrooms and catering facilities and is set in its own secluded 2 acre beautifully landscaped garden area and is available between 1st March and the 31st December.

The Glasshouse is suitable for up to 60 guests if you require a smaller more intimate wedding breakfast.

It remains part of the original 19th century Edwardian structure, and sits in a semi-circular walled garden.  The unusual fan shaped building has 180 degree windows with views across the world’s only Fruit Tree Maze.
