Weddings at Bramall Hall
Bramall Hall is one of the finest examples of a Tudor Manor House with origins dating back to medieval times. The House is known as one of the most beautiful treasures of England, and is of great national importance. The magnificent 16th Century wall paintings, Elizabethan style wattle and daub structure, Victorian Kitchens and Servants Quarters give this Hall quite a unique charm.
The Hall stands in 70 acres of parkland and lakes, designed in the style of Capability Brown providing great views of the terraces, lawns and lakes to the trees beyond.
The civil marriage ceremony can be either formal or a more traditional affair, and you can choose to enhance your ceremony with music, poetry or readings (non-religious) if so required. The ceremony itself will take place in the impressive surroundings of the Great Hall. This can accommodate up to 75 guests.
For the wedding reception, there is room to seat up to 60 people in the Grand Banqueting Room. If you choose a more intimate celebration for up to 30 people, there is the added option of dining around the magnificent Pugin banqueting table.
If your numbers exceed the capacity for the Great Hall, then don’t worry, Bramall Hall provides the perfect backdrop for those wedding receptions for up to 380 guests, with its very own decorated marquee. The marquee will be situated on the south-facing croquet lawn allowing views over the parkland, creating a wonderful setting for your special day. The marquees are of gold star quality and are designed to your specific requirements. After the reception meal for those who wish to celebrate in style, the Great Hall provides an excellent venue for live music, dancing or other suitable entertainment.
For £1950 you can have full exclusivity of Bramall Hall for your ceremony, breakfast and evening reception. This includes 2 floral arrangements, music upon arrival and even a red carpet. The food and drinks packages are tailor-made for you and there is a wide selection of food available.
