One of Rookery Hall’s Most Romantic Weddings

One of our latest weddings took place at the magnificent Rookery Hall in the stunning Worleston Suite. With floor to ceiling windows allowing an abundance of natural light to fill the entire room. This was definitely going to be a dream wedding set up.
Transforming any room can bring about a whole host of issues. The room layout, the colour of the walls, carpet, and lighting on the walls, all need to be taken into account when choosing your decor style. Having all the natural light and neutral coloured walls creates the perfect backdrop for simple, yet elegant whites, ivory and green shades in the table centrepieces and room decor.
Having a large room with a high ceiling allows for taller centrepieces. Glamour and elegance is instrumental to achieving the desired goals. With this in mind, we created two different centrepiece styles. One taller and one smaller.
Having ten guest tables was an incentive to show the Bride and Groom that mixing two styles was a better idea.
Centrepieces
To keep within the parameters of the required designs, the taller centrepieces were over two and a half metres in height. With the smaller just over a metre.
The taller ones consisted of a silver rectangular frame as a stand with the base covered in hydrangeas and candles. For the top of the stand we created a large floral design. This was a huge amount of foliage including eucalyptus, ruscus and ferns. All used as a base and filled with white hydrangeas, roses, peonies and stems of pussy willow.
The smaller centrepieces were round double hoop frames placed onto the tables. At the bottom of the hoops we made scaled down versions of the larger displays. This allowed the theme to run throughout.
Room Decor

By installing a huge three metre floral heart to stand behind the top table, and utilizing flowers and candles across the front of the top table itself. The romance is evident to see.
