Birthday Party Event Decorating
Woodyatt Warner dress venues all over the North West and beyond for a variety of events, from weddings, Corporate Award Ceremonies, Christenings, Christmas parties and Birthdays. On this occasion we were tasked to completely transform the Community Sports Hall at Altrincham FC for a special 21st Birthday party.
After being contacted by the Birthday girls parents, as they had seen what we had done previously, the decision was to go all out for the arrival of Niamh on her 21st.
The Sports Hall is a fantastic venue suitable for up to 280 guests and is a blank canvas to work on. This means we can pretty much do anything to make it the perfect setting for any event. As you can see from the before and after pictures, the transformation is amazing.
By installing around 40m of star cloth draping around the room and sequencing the twinkling lights in the draping with over 300m of fairy lights on the ceiling, the effect was nothing short of a fairy tale setting. We then added in up lighting around the room so as to project a coloured glow around the walls, and on the ceiling in a pink/purple colour.
A white LED dance floor was set up in front of the DJ for everyone to dance on during the evening of which complimented all the twinkling lights in the room.
As you can imagine…………….the look on everyone’s faces as they entered the room was priceless. None of them had imagined it to be anything like in the picture below.
The Sports Hall is fast becoming an extremely popular event venue due to its versatility as the room can be partitioned off down the centre to create two rooms so as to host smaller groups if needs be. Both of which have a fully stocked bar, projection screens, in built speaker systems, flat screen wall TV’s and a fully functioning kitchen with in house catering staff.
