Willington Hall Venue Dressing
Woodyatt Warner wedding venue dressers were hired by the Bride and Groom, Verity and Brad to supply the venue decorations for their big day at Willington Hall.
Built in 1829, Willington Hall has romantic charm with intimate spaces offering an abundance of History within its grounds.
This stunning venue looks perfect whatever the season. The fountains flow gently all year round, whilst the rhododendrons are proud of place during the early summer months. The sunken rose garden blooms from June to September and the fields are harvested in July and August, then snow covered landscapes throughout the Winter, create the perfect romantic backdrop for weddings all year round.
Inside the main hall you find beautifully decorated ceilings and chandeliers adorned with crystals. An elaborate floor to ceiling mirror reflects the elegant solid oak staircase, setting the scene for your grand entrance to your perfect day.
Exchange your vows in either the Gainsborough Suite, Richmond Suite, Hamilton’s Ballroom or the Orangery, with its bright and airy look created by windows, and a glass ceiling allowing all the light into the room. All fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies and with views across the Cheshire countryside.
Verity and Brad chose to have their wedding at Willington Hall, and who can blame them, when you have such an amazing venue situated in a beautiful surrounding, with full exclusivity for everyone to enjoy the day.
Having chosen the theme for the wedding, Verity asked us to decorate the Orangery and the Richmond Suite with our blossom trees, for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
For the ceremony, we incorporated our white canopy blossom trees to stand either side of the registrars table and decorated them with over 60 glass globes hanging from the branches filled with candles. As the colour scheme was mainly pink and white, we added in touches of hydrangeas in cylinder vases to surround the base of the trees and for on the table. A perfect way to say “I do” being stood under the blossom trees.
The wedding breakfast in the Richmond Suite was slightly different in that we brought in our huge 6ft dusky pink blossom trees to be used as centrepieces for the guest tables, whilst the top table was covered from end to end with smaller cylinder vases and hydrangeas so as to keep the theme running. Then blossom scattered in between the vases to match the table centrepieces.
Both the Bride and Groom were relaxing at the venue the night before, so we had chance to meet them both and ensure everything was ok for the wedding. We would just like to say, you were a pleasure to work with, and wish you all the best for the future.
