Combermere Abbey was the location for Woodyatt Warner venue dressers to create a stunning setting for the wedding of Kiki and ChaoMing. As one of Cheshire’s leading wedding venue dressing companies, the Bride and Groom chose us to provide the décor for their ceremony and wedding reception.
As you enter the gates at Combermere Abbey, you are transported into another world, a stunning hidden gem, in a glorious and tranquil secluded corner of the Cheshire countryside, steeped in history, romance and natural beauty. All of which you can enjoy in private on your wedding day.
Overlooked by beautiful specimen trees, make your way through the magical Fruit Tree Maze to the elegant fan-shaped Glasshouse to exchange your vows. Your day then continues in our fabulous Pavilion overlooking the beautiful manicured gardens, where along with your family and friends, you can relax in the surroundings of this spectacular wedding venue.
The Bride wanted the décor to be unique, simple yet effective, and neutral in style and colour so as to match the inside of the Pavilion. With the walls and ceiling being a blank canvas to work with, the decision was made to use our amazing 2m tall blossom tree centrepieces for the guest tables and decorate them in an abundance of candles and moss to create the natural look. By alternating both table cloths and napkins with white and grey, there was an added touch of colour without it being overpowering.
The ceremony took place in the Glasshouse where we installed a huge 3m tall white blossom tree to stand under for those ever so important wedding photos. With over 60 cylinder vases filled with floating candles placed around the entire window ledge all around the room, it provided a romantic look fit for a Princess.
