School Prom Venue Dressing
The Community Sports Hall at Altrincham FC was the location for Cheshire venue dressers Woodyatt Warner to create something spectacular for Navigation Road Primary School’s Prom night.
The Sports Hall is a unique venue with all the amenities required to provide an excellent setting for any event, whether it be a wedding, christening, birthday party or simply to hire for corporate meetings. Having such versatility is hard to find and Altrincham FC have it all under one roof.

The staff at Navigation Road Primary School saw this as the ideal location for their School Prom and after working with both Stacey Rowley and Judy Henson at Altrincham FC on all the details for booking of the Hall, they were then looking for that extra sparkle to transform the venue into something special for the evening.
Unbeknown to them, the owner at Woodyatt Warner was a pupil at Navigation Road Primary School up until 1988Â so were delighted to have that connection and see what we could do to make the Prom special.
Being in contact on a regular basis, we bounced around some ideas towards the staff at the school, and came to a decision that “glamorous” was the way forward.
By utilising lighting around the Hall to coordinate with the colour scheme, and by covering the walls in twinkling star cloth drapes, we created a very unique look that brought about an aura of sophistication. Also to keep away from the look of a wedding, we incorporated a mixture of black and white table linen and chair covers, then finished them off with silver bows and diamante buckles.

The centrepieces were very extravagant huge crystal chandeliers illuminated from the base in the purple glow to match the lighting projected around the room, then finished off with a simple floral display on the top.
