Not only do you have your wedding at Moss Wood, but you also have full exclusivity of the estate which includes a fully restored mansion with all the latest mod cons and luxurious furnishings. Acres of beautifully landscaped gardens complete with a stunning lake and fountain. Take a stroll through the grounds into the woodland area which boasts rare trees and foliage that springs to life during the summer. Walk along many of its paths to find hidden in the woodland area, a secret tree house cabin nestled deep in the bushes.

To the other side of the mansion you will find a huge field with apple and pear trees growing. This is the ideal spot for a marquee to hold your wedding in. With a suitable private parking area for your guests cars and an abundance of picturesque areas on the estate for your wedding ceremony to take place, you are spoilt for choice.

Accommodation at Moss Wood is of the highest standard with the most unique and luxurious places to stay. There are currently two guest houses suitable as Bridal Suites allowing you to choose which one you want. “The Stables” is the bigger of the two guest houses comprising of a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, lounge area and bedroom with en suite bathroom. Overlooking the countryside, the views are stunning, especially sat outside watching the sun set over the fields with a glass of wine.

“The Summerhouse” is the second guest house and sits next to the lake. Again with all the latest and luxurious features, decorated in the highest standard, you are guaranteed comfort. With a bedroom, lounge area, bathroom and fully kitted out kitchen, this is a beautiful place to stay. There is even a mezzanine level up the windy staircase with two extra beds, perfect for children.
The Summer House Bridal Suite or guest house
A new guest house is being built by the woodland area already named “The Pavillion” that will include a hot tub for those relaxing evenings so you can indulge in the finest bubbly whilst sat in the bubbles.
The mansion itself can also be hired if you are looking to go all out and hire the entire estate for the weekend!
This is a weekend retreat that you will never forget. Unlike every other hotel or wedding venue, Moss Wood is available from the Friday until the Sunday, so you have the entire place to yourself. There is no rushing you through the wedding process and making you leave at 11am the following morning. You can arrive on the Friday and spend the whole day with your Bridesmaids, family, friends etc. then when it comes to the wedding day, you are already there, and all you have to do is walk through the stunning gardens to greet your guests and husband to be. Following the festivities, you have the full day on Sunday as a newly married couple to relax and enjoy your day together without any interruptions whatsoever.

Included in the weekend stay is the chance to show your skills with clay pigeon shooting and archery. If you are feeling energetic, there is ample space to roll up your socks and play football, rugby, cricket or even a game of croquet?
If you are looking to hire everything including the mansion, there is enough room for 25 people to stay over. Or if you prefer to hold your wedding at Moss Wood and just hire the guest houses, the mansion will be unavailable to enter, however the mansion will not be hired out to any other parties.
