Vale Royal Abbey

Woodyatt Warner would like to announce that as one of Cheshire’s leading wedding venue dressing companies, we will be working closely with Vale Royal Abbey as a new venue dresser for weddings and events, for the next two years.

Vale Royal Abbey is a stunningly restored 13th century Abbey set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside that was founded by King Edward I in 1263.

This wedding venue boasts some of the most unique and beautifully restored rooms in the country with the ability to cater for up to 200 guests.

The Great Hall

This suite features a remarkable vaulted ceiling adorned with Coats of Arms, ornate fireplaces, and huge solid oak doors The Great Hall is steeped in history and provides a unique atmosphere for any wedding. With its versatility, this makes for an ideal venue for larger events seating up to 120 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 200 guests for a theatre-style conference.

The Library

With large medieval feature windows and magnificent carved doorways. The Library provides a grand and homely setting that complements the Great Hall.  As an informal setting, The Library is used for more intimate, relaxed occasions, seating up to 50 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 120 guests for a Wedding Civil Ceremony or theatre-style conference.

The Lounge

With the stunning backdrop of Vale Royal Abbey’s 18-hole golf course and windows that directly overlook the Great House courtyard, The Lounge is tastefully furnished featuring inviting leather sofas and private bar area. The Lounge represents  a welcoming setting for more intimate occasions and business meetings, whilst also being the reception area for larger events being held in the Great Hall  and Library.

The Armoury

The Armoury can be utilised as another bar and reception area for larger events held in the Great Hall. Accessible via the original stone staircase, the Armoury is comfortably furnished and provides a unique ambience ahead of arrival into the Great Hall.
