Thornton Hall Weddings
Thornton Hall was the former home of the wealthy shipping merchants, the Bamford Brothers of Liverpool. The original building is believed to have been built around 1830, and became a flying club after World War II and was then transformed into a hotel in 1954.
Today the hotel is owned by the Thompson Family and is known for its food and hospitality with a four-star rating. The hotel is located in Thornton Hough, a small leafy area of the Wirral and boasts 63 bedrooms and suites for weddings, events and conferences. It is home to the award-winning triple AA rosette restaurant The Lawns providing mouth watering food for your wedding.
Woodyatt Warner venue dressers have worked at the Hotel on numerous weddings fully decorating both the Torintone Suite capable of holding up to 650 guests, and the newly refurbished Cristal suite. The most recent wedding was a multicultural event where we transformed the Torintone suite with a huge amount of décor from blossom trees to a flower wall and dance floor. The Bride and Groom were greeted with a raised staging area surrounded with a huge floral wall and a room filled with glamorous table centres.
