Mere Court Hotel Weddings

Woodyatt Warner created an Autumnal feel in the Conservatory at Mere Court Hotel for the wedding of Stephanie and Chris. Having seen our previous work, the couple had ideas of using colours of the season to brighten up the blank canvas of the room.

The deep reds, burnt orange, browns and dark greens were chosen as the favoured colours for the wedding, so we set about creating trees with all the Autumnal leaves, then adding in pine cones, red berries, moss and all the little elements of the season. The trees were used as centrepieces on the guest tables where we hung floating candles in glass globes from the branches to provide that touch of elegant lighting for when the darkness fell.

The top table was covered in a similar style with all the maple leaves, pine cones, berries etc. but we also added small lanterns across the entire length of the table and attached a deep red swag to the front. Cylinder vases were introduced for the bouquets to stand in during the wedding breakfast.

To further enhance the look, we covered the ceiling in red, orange and white ceiling drapes, then installed up lighting around the room to project the same colours around the conservatory. Finally by adding in the gold chivari chairs with deep red seat pads, the overall look was achieved perfectly.
