The Lowry Weddings

Cheshire venue dressers Woodyatt Warner were at The Lowry in Salford Quays to dress the Compass Room for the wedding of the Bride and Groom, Karine and Wouter. The groom was from the Netherlands where they celebrate weddings in a much different way, so the Bride wanted to hold her wedding in the UK and decided upon The Lowry for her wedding.

After researching for the venue dressing, the Bride chose Woodyatt Warner, from seeing our previous work done at the venue, and subsequently came to see us to discuss her ideas. After the consultation where we provided suggestions for the venue dressing to work with their style and colours, the Bride and Groom booked us straight away.

So as not to be all white and have the usual wedding look, the Bride decided upon adding in colours of her Bridesmaids dresses to incorporate into the venue dressing, so we used the navy blue and silver colours for the table cloths, napkins and chair covers to add some glamour. For the centrepieces, we made large displays with a variety of seasonal foliage and added in white and ivory hydrangeas,  peonies and roses to bring them to life.

For the ceremony, our flower wall was installed as a backdrop behind the registrars table so as to have stunning photos of the signing of the wedding register.

With all the special lighting the Compass Room has, and the 360 degree views over the Quays, the Lowry truly is a great venue for a wedding.
