Nunsmere Hall Venue Dressers
Having created many amazing weddings at Nunsmere Hall, Cheshire based award winning venue dressers Woodyatt Warner were asked to dress the marquee for our Bride and Groom, Claire and Jason, on their big day.
By utilising the plain blank canvas of the marquee, we brought in the bold purple colours of the flowers to correspond with the sashes on the chairs. By doing this, the white of the walls and ceiling was broken up so as to take away the cold feel of the marquee.
With there being 13 tables, we gave a few ideas to the Bride to think about for the centrepieces, and she chose to go with a selection of tall large floral displays, slightly smaller displays and then a selection of triple cylinder vases for the smaller displays, all of which contained bright purple and white flowers with foliage to bring out the colours.
The top table was set for 4 people, so very small, but we draped it in a satin purple swag to match the sashes and filled the table with vases and flowers with candles to create a romantic feel.
To finish off the dressing of the marquee, we added giant 5ft illuminated MR & MRS letters by the side of the top table, installed up lights for the evening reception to project purple lighting around the marquee and hung festoon lights around the railings on the terrace.
With the centre of the marquee ceiling being very high, both the Bride and Groom wanted something to fill the gap so as to make sure the guests had the WOW factor upon entering so we hung over 100 candle holders at differing heights from the beams and lit the candles. This made quite an attraction to the wedding and really made the venue come to life.
