North West Wedding Venues on a Budget
Yesterday we brought you the beautiful surroundings of Quarry bank Mill, a National Trust Site in the Styal woodlands. Today we bring you something for the animal lovers out there. Hyde Bank farm dates back to 1655 and was once home to Anne Hyde, the wife of James II King of England. It promises you a ‘Royal’ welcome for a wedding venue with a difference.
Set within the beautiful rolling countryside on the border of Cheshire and Derbyshire. This charming Grade 2 Listed Stone Barn has been converted and furnished to a high quality function suite and is the perfect setting for smaller more intimate weddings, catering for up to 100 guests.
The wedding suite has charm, character and an atmosphere to match, with oak beams, dance floor and private bar with a range of draught beers, wines and spirits. The Farm Barn has provision for live music or any other entertainment you require.
For around £1000 you will get the full run of the whole Farm, including a beautiful barn conversion with dining/dancing area upstairs (stone walls, iron Chandeliers and wooden beams), chill out room downstairs, outside patio, surrounding fields, and small animal area for the children with rabbits, pigs etc… The Farm itself is surrounded by unspoilt rolling hills, yet close to Stockport and Manchester for transport.
A four course meal for around £25 per head, and you can guarantee all the food is grown and produced locally providing the most sumptuous tasting dishes available.
Now how’s that for a venue with style, historic appeal, areas for beautiful wedding photographs and excellent food?
