The “Summer Offer” we had on venue draping at Woodyatt Warner was taken up by Becky and Steven for their wedding reception at Friezland Hall in Oldham. Having seen how we have decorated venues previously with our twinkling star cloth draping to cover walls, Becky contacted us to see if we could completely transform her venue.
From the pictures of before and after, you can see just how much of a difference adding drapes makes to venue. The vast majority of village halls, community centres, etc. are tired looking from the inside, and quite often have unflattering décor such as noticeboards, pictures, drab curtains and old paintwork. Even in Hotels, you may find that the room you are getting married in could be mistaken for a conference room.
This is where our draping and lighting effects can transform a venue into something completely different.
The star cloth draping sections are connected together, so the lights in the drapes twinkle in sequence. With a master control box, we can set the lights to a variety of modes from fading in and out, twinkling or just static. Then by attaching drapes to the ceiling and adding in coloured up lighting, of which can be set to a wide range of colours to suit your theme, the set up is complete.
Couples are discovering that you don’t need to spend thousands on a specialist wedding venue, when the local village hall can be hired for just a couple of hundred pounds or less. They can then put their own personal touch into the décor and have it exactly how they want it to look. Whether it be with simple touches of décor, or by hiring in a professional company with all the necessary equipment to create the desired effect.
Having transformed a large number of venues all across the north West and beyond, Woodyatt Warner have a huge amount of experience when it comes to full room transformations.
