The Bride and Groom opted to have both their ceremony and wedding reception in the marquee so it was set up to accommodate for this by splitting the marquee into two sections. The Bride opted for the chairs to be dressed, but didn’t want the traditional chair covers as the chairs are stylish enough, so just wanted a little something to add that extra glamorous effect.
By adding ivory chiffon drapes and tying them in the centre with diamante buckles, they were transformed to work well with the marquee interior and the style required.
For the wedding breakfast we added a large array of decorative pieces from crystal candle holders, cylinder vases with floating candles, floral balls of white and ivory roses and displayed them on diamante wrapped mirror plates, placed onto our shiny silver sequin table cloths.
Soft neutral colours compliment the glitzy silver extremely well. To make best use of the blank canvas of a marquee, the most important thing is to use one or two colours without going to extreme. The greens in foliage and flowers themselves can completely transform the look of a marquee.
