With the ceremony taking place in two sections of the Worsley Suite and the Wedding Breakfast in two other sections of the Worsley Suite with the evening reception using the entire room, we had previously covered the partition wall with a twinkling star cloth backdrop for the ceremony and attached drapes to the ceiling to run from above the registrars table to the edges and centre of the room.
Paula had seen this and immediately knew that this is how she wanted her ceremony room to be decorated, so contacted us at Woodyatt Warner to sit down and go through all her ideas for the venue dressing. After the first consultation both Paula and Darren booked with us to dress their wedding for them.
To create the desired effect, we had to set up the ceremony room, then once the ceremony had finished, we then removed the wall and ceiling drapes and moved them into a more central position on the ceiling so as to be suitable for the shape of the room. The star cloth wall drapes were then moved to behind the top table where we added a matching star cloth twinkling top table swag.
The colour scheme was glamorous silver and navy blue, so we used our newly designed shiny sequin sashes for the chairs and chose three designs for the table centrepieces to include the glitzy and glamorous style the Bride and Groom were looking for.
For that extra touch, we installed up lighting around the room in a blue atmospheric shade, and 5ft LOVE letters to finish off the room beautifully.
