As one of Cheshire’s leading wedding suppliers, Woodyatt Warner – award winning wedding venue dressers, were once again at the stunning Combermere Abbey set on the Cheshire/Shropshire border, to style and decorate the ceremony and wedding reception for Helen and Scott on their exclusive wedding day celebration.
Upon entering Combermere, you will enjoy exclusive use of the stunning walled gardens where “The Glasshouse” is situated. This is a truly unique fan shaped glass panelled structure and is surrounded by the world’s only fruit tree maze. As you walk through the gardens you will stumble across the impressive “Walled Garden Pavilion” with its spectacular star-lit ceiling and spacious interior complete with a dance floor and bar area.
Not only that, but Combermere boasts nine award winning 5 star cottages for up to 49 guests to stay in. ‘The North Wing’ luxurious bridal apartment is situated within the restored gothic wing of the Abbey itself and ensures your stay will be unique and memorable.
Helen (Bride) decided upon a very glitzy wedding and wanted us to bring out lots of sparkle to compliment the Pavilion interior. After initial meetings with both the Bride and Groom, it was evident just exactly how they wanted the ceremony in the Glasshouse and the wedding reception in the Pavilion to be dressed.
The theme was sparkly silver, crystals and the elegance of white ostrich feathers. Nothing was to lack any glitz, not even the cake or sweetie table.
As you can see from the pictures of the wedding, we mirrored the ceiling canopy with our own star cloth draping for the walls, and created a truly impressive look with the silver sequin table linen and chair covers. By using both silver and crystal candelabras on alternate tables and dressing the top table from end to end with an abundance of candles, crystal vases, candle holders and feathers, this was one wedding not to be overshadowed.
The ceremony in the Glasshouse again kept the theme running with the use of sequin covered wedding columns running down either side of the aisle for the crystal candelabras to stand on.
A very impressive look to an equally impressive venue. The feedback we received upon returning to clear the venue of everything was second to none. The entire wedding party were amazed at the work we had put into the wedding to create something so special.
